Roots of Progress Celebration 2025: Announcing our honorees!

ProgressNow Colorado takes the responsibility to uplift the major leaders and voices of the moment seriously. With just a few short weeks until the Roots of Progress Celebration, we are proud to announce this year's outstanding group of honorees:

• Karen Middleton – Cobalt
• Jess Grennan – Simple Majority
• Dusti Gurule – Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR)
• Nicole Hensel – New Era Colorado
• Shara Smith – Interfaith Alliance of Colorado

These leaders spearheaded one of the largest and most effective grassroots organizing campaigns the state has ever seen. ProgressNow Colorado is honored to have been one of the key support organizations for this massive effort. Together, our work with the Coloradans for Reproductive Freedom Campaign helped to pass Amendment 79, enshrining abortion rights in the Colorado state constitution.

Join us to celebrate the power of connecting communities and communications to grassroots efforts for progress.

Our annual event fuels our work and will carry us on to the new challenges of 2026. Your partnership directly supports our ability to continue to support campaigns, communications, organizing, and advocacy work like this statewide.
