We’ve finally arrived at Election Day 2026. We’re all tired, so let’s keep this short.

By now, you’ve probably already voted, and thank you! On the off chance that you haven’t, no worries. In Colorado you can register and cast a ballot on Election Day. If you received a mail ballot, it must be returned to your county clerk by 7 p.m. If you still need to register, you can do that too. Visit GoVoteColorado.gov to find out where to go and what to bring with you.

For those of you who have already voted, today is about little things you can do to help run up the score. Everyone has been saturated with paid election messages and volunteer requests, but a personal message from someone you know is still the most effective voter outreach tool there is. You have friends, family, and/or coworkers who probably haven’t voted. Text or call them right now. Just do it.

Help your friends and neighbors get it done. Offer a ride to the drop box or vote center. Send them the link to GoVoteColorado.gov and the Progressive Voters Guide. Here's a printable version. Colorado didn’t vote for the terrible direction the country has taken in the last two years, but we can play a leading role in setting things right. We do that with honest and accurate results too overwhelming to second-guess, and with some of the highest rates of voter participation in the nation.
