Amendment 84: New voter ID requirements
Vote NO on Amendment 84
Amendment 84 asks Colorado voters to amend the Colorado constitution in order to create onerous voter identification requirements. The amendment would require voters to include the last four digits of their social security number or driver’s license/ID number on their ballot. This amendment would prohibit counting ballots that do not include such identifying information. Amendment 84 creates barriers to voting by excluding those who do not have access to social security information or a driver’s license/state ID. This is an unnecessary tactic that will limit both the number of voters and the total votes counted.
