Vote NO on Proposition 134

Proposition 134 asks if the state of Colorado should create sex-based restrictions on children’s sports. 134 would regulate a child’s ability to participate in sports based on the child’s reproductive organs, declaring that children should only be allowed to participate on teams of their same biological sex. Proposition 134 could require the verification of a child’s biological sex, potentially subjecting children to invasive gender inspections. The overgeneralized wording of 134 creates strict labels that will narrow the experiences of children participating in sports. This proposition over-regulates and politicizes decisions that ought to be made by kids, their parents, and schools.
